Goog call, that's probably what's happening. I've replaced lightdm with
kdm and the problem is gone. I prefer kdm anyway. Thank you for your

May be that communication between kde-workspace and lightdm is off such
that latter will not wait for the session to terminate but simply kill
it when it gets the shutdown instruction (which is sent before the
scripts are run). Please report your bug at bugs.kde.org so the KDE
developers can take a
Like I said, I've been using kde shutdown scripts since kde3, I know
that they have to be executable, and it is.
