I agree with the previous comment, this bug seems to be slightly different to
1165420. Although it might be caused by the same issue, as it is pretty
similar!

I don't think this is a duplicate. Bug 1165420 specifically mentions
certain indicators as not being searchable, however, it says that others
work fine:

Maybe the problem is due to some interference with Nautilus?
on 13.10 when you open HUD with all no active programs it shows commands to
Nautilus (like new window, bookmarks, connect to server...)

I've noticed this too when trying 13.10. It works in 13.04 for me (and
it's something that I use a lot).

In 13.04, I could use HUD to Log Out, Shut Down, Suspend and Restart.
This is the only way I know to do such thing through keyboard. After
update, I can't do it anymore.
