I believe that this bug has been corrected in Ubuntu hardy
openoffice.org 1:2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 so I am marking it as Fix Released.
If after upgrading you continue to have problems with this issue then
feel free to reopen this bug.

This is driving me nuts. Is there any more info I can add that will help track
this down?
I've attached a spreadsheet for testing that seems to be usable for triggering
the crash.
Here's what I did:
steps to reproduce:
1 open the doc
2 start gdb in a terminal (gdb)
3 atta
Presumably it's ok to re-open this if I'm adding some more info.

I'm experiencing this problem too.
gdb reports:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Which doesn't mean much to me.
