This is not a bug in python2.4, it's a bug in the code you have
provided. I will reject the bug. You may open it again, if you feel that
you aren't done with it.
import logging, logging.handlers
logger = logging.getLogger('')
logger.setLevel(logging.DEBUG)
handler = logging.handlers.SysLogHandle
No, this is not a duplicate. In my instance NOTHING happens. There are
NO messages sent to the syslog.
