Further review of the issue lends to the fact that this seems to have
been a support issue. No other bugs seem similar regarding the issue so
this bug will be closed.

error message reported? Status left as incomplete until bug is either
confirmed by logs or another instance of the error, or

I used synaptic manager cleaned things up
