This problem went away for me a couple weeks ago with one of the recent
updates... the new CompizConfig tool also helps ;)

Why is this bug closed anyway as this should be done for the user at some point
(maybe during enabling it. I dont think with bulletproof being implemented (or
atleast partially) this should be done for user. not meaning at this point but

this only happens with nvidia AFAIK ive had this issue since beryl first

in the xorg.conf.

Did you use the restricted manager to enable the nvidia driver? If not,
does adding the following to your Screen section in xorg.conf fix the
problem?
