Attached a screen shot of my normal desktop. The bug only occurred the once, however the issue have continued to have problems with logout and shutdown. When logout button selected, and either logout or shutdown action requested, X will hang intermittently. Have to use Ctl + Alt + F1 to exit. Ct

I was able to work normally during that session, however when shutting down using the quit button, nothing happened and at that point all the actions on the top panel would not respond. Quit using Ctl + Alt + F1 and shutdown. On startup this morning, gnome took a long time to start. The other use
