I'm having the same problem on Hardy Beta. The fix posted above doesn't
fix the problem (stopping about 2 seconds into any flash movie).

Hello, I had the same issue and was able to correct it following this
procedure.
sudo dpkg -r flashplugin-nonfree
sudo dpkg --purge flashplugin-nonfree
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Because the Flash player is proprietary software, bugs cannot be handled
or fixed here. You will need to visit
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform and complete
the steps there to file a bug with Adobe.
