Qt Jambi is a Qt port to Java programming language from Trolltech. It
has reached the stable version. It would be extremely nice to include it
into the Ubuntu (and Debian) along with the regular Qt libs and python
(etc.) bindings.

I've created a PPA https://launchpad.net/~qtjambi-
community/+archive/libqtjambi which now contains both i386 and amd64
packages for maverick and natty, built from Qt 4.7.2. I'm looking
forward for getting this into the official repos. I appreciate any
testing result or suggestion about the package

with your link i could get a downloadable .deb for the wrong
architecture or a source package, which i have to compile, both of which
are not automatically updating.

Harald: In what archives? On lucid, apt-cache search jambi returns
nothing. I gather this was in older releases, but removed.
