I provided some new log PulseAudio files in the first reported bug (Bug
#1183145).

When you increase the volume to 70-80 % and above, there's a little
sound distortion (it can be heard especially when human voice is being

It may well be the case BUT I just play a song on YouTube using Firefox
22 or in Rhythmbox. In other words, I DO NOT set the PCM playback
manually in any way to be over 0 dB so I really do not know whether the
PCM playback volume is set over that value.
