I can confirm this issue on current ubuntu 12.04 boxes. Trying to
automate updates on 500+ boxes is a nightmare. Is there any workaround
for this? I have tried combinations of
force-confdef
force-confold
-y
to no avail.

I have to hand-upgrade 220 machines because it asks this question on
every one of them.

when running those commands, other packages correctly accept the parameter,
this one doesn't, that is why I placed it here.
