This is quite an old bug, but it still stands: there is no way of editing the grub entries (with grub2 not the grub.cfg directly) graphically. It would be nice to have an UI to set the entry names, whether to show the kernel version or not, to show recovery versions or not... -- No graphical way

Thanks for your report. Your idea might get more attention and have the possibility of being implemented if you submit a specification for it. First check whether the idea is already registered , and if so, contact the specification's drafter about your ideas. O
