regarding this being fixed by reinstallation. For future reference you
can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status

Out of despair, I made a sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice* today
before I could see your last message... and after reinstallation, it
works, the problem has disappeared now! Previously, I had removed
libreoffice through Software Centre and deleted the libreoffice stuff in

Nothing, there's Presentation Minimizer preinstalled but it can't be
uninstalled, I think it's bundled with Libreoffice, isn't it?

Yes, File>Wizard>Letter, then you just skip all other options
(customization won't matter) and go straight to point six, click on
Terminate and type the name of the file (whichever name, it doesn't
matter), click OK and after that I experience a crash.
