My description is a little bit different:
- Before I installed resolvconf network was unstable
After installing resolvconf...
- During execution my DNS is changed to my companys servers
- When vpnc-disconnect is called my DNS configuration is left blank, so
networking does not work.

I have no clue if this is important, but I use predefined DNS servers (in the
network configuration) following my ISP recommendations (nothing to do with the
VPN server I connect to)
