To blacklist a filesystem, simply omit it from /etc/filesystems and it
won't be tried.

As already said /etc/filesystems is not useful in all cases. Also there
is another way for a whitelist so this problem is solved. Only the
feature request for a blacklist is still remaining (or have I overlooked
something?).

applied to all mount commands auto

/etc/filesystems ... see man page. Note that the current upstream stable
release is 2.23.
