I tested the gutsy-alternate-amd64.iso built at 11:13 on 19-Sep-2007,
but it even can not be installed.

I just wanted to note that I am working on this; the fiddly bit is
converting GRUB device names back into Linux device names so that we can
run sfdisk et al on them. However, I'll be on holiday for the next week,
so I won't be able to make any more progress during that time. I'll pick

I assume you installed using the Live CD. It would be helpful if you
could attach the installer log to this bug report. You may need to
repeat the install if you no longer have access to the installed
