My x220 doesn't have this issue either -- I'm going to reset the BIOS to
factory settings and see what happens.

I believe I have it fixed with the following things:
1. Turned off Wake on LAN in BIOS settings.
2. Installed latest Intel graphics drivers from:
https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads
I've suspended/resumed a few times since then with no problems.
Will file a new report if the issue returns.
