You can use the "APT::Cache-Limit" option to increase the mmap cache limit that
apt uses. It is currently set to "12*1024*1024" (12582912).
Try:
$ sudo apt-get update -o APT::Cache-L
>> E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
is your hard drive full?
