Here's a simple patch to add this.
In CVS and SVN there are $Id$ type tags which would be one way to get
the revision number, but bzr does not appear to support this yet.

Hmm, but apt-cache madison displayconfig-gtk on feisty prints out:
displayconfig-gtk | 0.2ubuntu2
Which implies that displayconfig-gtk is at least version 0.2. If in
gutsy it's currently just a VCS sync, you could have it print out
something like:
$ displayconfig-gtk --version
displayconfig-gtk
We haven't done any releases yet. But perhaps we should adept the Ubuntu
release cycle for this project too.
