Looks to me like the mouse is initially not properly detected, therefore
declared as an unkown device and since icons for unknown devices seem to
not exist the missing icon is returned. Since this battery and ups
indicator was initially all about batteries, wouldn't it be better to
return the devic
I also do experience this issue in 13.10. After some time the icon for
the mouse is displayed where the icon for a missing icon was before. If
remove the wireless receiver and replug it the icon for missing icon is
displayed again. Tested mice: Logitech Performance MX and Logitech
Anywhere Mouse MX
