To remove the package, try sudo dpkg deinstall --force-remove-reinstreq

I recently installed clamav, and clamav-getfiles happens to be stuck, or is a
bad package. The timer just keeps going. I cannot do anything that I can think
of to get rid of it, or find a good replacement. Can anyone plese help?
