i can confirm this, too. have been testing gutsy rc for two days, and i am
indeed impressed by some accomplishments BUT knm is still quite buggy. i was
not able to reconnect to any ap after resuming from s2ram e.g.
BTT: while knm in 7.04 listed all mac-adresses and only one essid, it is now
even
Gutsy has the same behaviour.

I don't know if you can test this with GUTSY, which has KNetworkManage v0.2.
If you can reproduce this issue with v0.2, please consider opening a bug in KDE
