Lock
I'm not sure why your shortcut is different from mine, but it doesn't
seem to matter. I don't know if Super+L was the default shortcut, or
whether I set it, but either way, I have set it now. The settings say
that Super+L is the right shortcut, but it doesn't work after each
login, until I reset
I am running Ubuntu 12.04.2 32 bit here. On my system, pressing Super +
L opens the Launcher. The pull-down menu at the top right of the
desktop shows "Lock Screen Ctrl+Alt+L", which does lock my screen.
