I found out the following.
QShortcut *shortcut = new
QShortcut(QKeySequence("Ctrl+Shift+7"), this); // QT4 works - QT5
doesn't
QShortcut *shortcut = new
QShortcut(QKeySequence("Ctrl+Shift+/"), this); // QT5 works - QT4
doesn't
