I suppose it's not fixed, i did a report to the alsa bug list too, one
year ago and no reply from there. Maybe you can close this bug. I sold
my Maya usb because it didn't work so I can't test it anymore.

The main problem is that gnome-volume-control windows is empty, and I
can set the master volume only in alsamixer.
Those two sliders in the alsamixer-capture window are for direct
monitoring. Playback, capture, and direct monitoring works ok, alsamixer
shows sliders only for direct monitoring and
This card is 4in/4out, but in audacity and all other programs I can see
only 2/2. It's alsa problem sure. But if I could see these 2 inputs and
outputs in gnome-mixer, it would be great..
