I tried to create bootable USB on Ubuntu 14.10 (Unicorn) of standard
Ubuntu 14.04 amd64 LTS iso.
usb-creator-gtk:
usb-creator-gtk failed to boot and displays: failed to load com32 file
gfxboot.c32
unetbootin:
unetbootin from 14.10 repository fails wi
I created using usb-creator-gtk for the latest iso 2014/9/14(ubuntu &
ubuntukylin 32&64bit ), very strange.
I installed ubuntu& UK 64bit on lattop HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-15-PC , it works.
but on the other mache for example thinkpad-201i, dell inspiron, lenovo,it did
not work.

I have the same problem with the Daily Build of Ubuntu 14.10 downloaded
on 31st August 2014, I tried the TAB then "live" and it booted. I
understand this is something that seems to crop up from time to time and
is related to the compiler of the build, could it be accessing an old
"boot-enabler" th
I'm seeing the same symptoms:
I created an image using 14.10 (fully updated) amd64 desktop
Target iso was 14.04.1 i386 desktop.
The 'live' workaround worked for me.
