bluetooth module. I can assure you that it does NOT have that optional

Daniel Kessel, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/cu
There has been no response on the kernel platform driver mailing list.

upstream kernel. Would it be possible for you to open an upstream bug
report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the
issue, and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.8 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both
the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.

I cannot use apport-collect, as it will refuse to collect the data,
displaying a message about an inofficial kernel. I am using the default
kernel in raring.

Can you please install the following packages:
acpidump fwts dmidecode iasl
And then run the following from an empty directory:
- grep -r . /proc/acpi > acpi
- sudo acpidump -o acpidump.txt
- acpixtract acpidump.txt
- iasl -d DSDT.dat
- sudo fwts > fwts
- sudo fwts method > fwts_method
- su
We've been debugging this a bit in #ubuntu-devel, apparently the problem
is that the compal-laptop module will ALWAYS create two rfkill entries,
regardless of the actual hardware.
I tried doing "modprobe compal-laptop force" on a completely different
piece of hardware and sure enough I got the two
