Actually after a clean install of Ubuntu 13.04 there is no Keyboard
Layout Indicator at all. Cool...

No Romanian Standard Keyboard in GNO
The "Romanian" Layout is the same with "Romanian (standard)",
"Romanian(cedilla)" and all the others. Can someone fix this? They
should have different keyboard layouts. "Romanian (standard)" has as a
shortcut "ru", the same with the shortcut for "Russian". Is this a
freaking joke? FWIW, now the Rus
