As far as I'm aware, This packages currently fails rule 4 of
backporting.
4 Applications to be backported must have meaningful benefits to the
user not attainable via other processes. Specifically:
1. The sole purpose must not be to fix a bug or security vulnerability.
There are more correct proc
this bug has been fixed on Evolution 2.21.5 onwards on Hardy. If this is
considered to be important on previous Ubuntu versions, please consider
requesting a backport.

I still also see that a number of birthdays from my adressbook do not appear in
my calendar.
I'm using 2.12.1 on gutsy. Is it useful to get a list of missing birthdays?

The issue with Evolution Calendar showing ages incorrectly is known
upstream:

Using the Gutsy 64-bit version, the birthdays show up in calendar now.
But it tells me this person mentioned above, born in 1947, is turning
37. She'll be happy to hear it no doubt, but I'm afraid it isn't quite
true... And trying things out a bit, it seems that the max age of all
people is 37.

Confirmed on 32bit Feisty, although for me 09.12.06 did work, but
09.12.47 did not.
