This may now be a regression in Lucid. This was not a problem with gThumb in Karmic (for me) but happens on all 3 machines I have running Lucid B1. The mounts are nautilus/gvfs. As the OP stated, it picks up thumbnails just fine in folder view, but if you double-click to view the single/full image
