SOLVED update did not fix it for me - but then I found the lubuntu
'Customise Look and Feel' options under Preferences (in start menu). In
the colour tab you need to tick the box for 'use customised colour
scheme'. Thats it! This tab includes colours for tooltips, and if the
box isn't ticked, they
Just downloaded a Lubuntu update - it fixed this -
Now the mouseover dialogues are black on beige.
