k9copy depends on dvd+rw-tools, so appropriate tools should installed by
default.
Can you run from terminal/konsole and provide any output that k9copy creates?

Apparently dvdrtools and mkisofs need to also be installed, seperately.
These should be pulled in automatically but are not. I think both have
transition/replacement packages but they don't solve the issue; these
have to also be installed.
