This is on fully up-to-date ubuntu saucy (13.10). There is a strange
version mismatch with the packages version - could it be the reason for
the bug?
# dpkg -l | grep "vlc "
ii browser-plugin-vlc 2.0.6-2
amd64multimedia plugin for web
Same story with .m3u playlists, standalone VLC works but browser-plugin-
vlc crashes. Here is the stream you can try this on:
