No, there isn't. I've been stuck on 3.2 on my laptop since I upgraded to
Quantal.
Also, regarding additional output, I couldn't find the "set

No, I only have Quantal on my laptop (and I'm forced to use the Precise kernel
on that). On my other machine I still have precise, but I installed (and
immediately uninstalled) the newer kernel.
