This bug has been fixed as debian bug 436523 : /usr/bin/barcode: man
page run together. This fix is now available in Hardy.

* doc/manpager seems to need gawk to produce proper manpages

The initial problem was found on an 'edgy' system.
When installed under 'feisty' the following errors are also seen, which look to
be related.
