same problem here on kubuntu feisty upgraded from edgy. When I plug my
usb stick (1GB Creative Zicplay, mp3 player), kde asks me what I want to
do, when I tell him to open a new window, he opens one with which seems
to be the content of the root of my camera (which is not plugged at that

Until this issue is resolved (access to this disk is critical to my
work) I have temporarily returned to using Edgy, however the problem
also exists when running Feisty from the Live DVD so I include the dmesg
output from that. I hope that's sufficient.

Tried upgrading to Feisty from Edgy again with the same results. This
time I paid close attention to the installation in the terminal. Could
