When the fix lands, you do not need to do anything. You can even remove
your workaround via
lpadmin -p E250d -R usb-no-reattach-default
as CUPS applies the change automatically for you. Also any new computer
you set up with Raring (or newer) will work with your computer out of
the box, without ap

Just to make sure I understand: I did upgrade to quantal and then raring
without the need to ever change anything since I did 'lpadmin -p E250d
-o usb-no-reattach-default=true' and reported this bug.
