The document attached to comment #1 zooms quite fast on Ubuntu 14.04
"Trusty Tahr", with evince 3.10.3-0ubuntu10, poppler 0.24.5-2ubuntu4 and
libcairo2 1.13.0~20140204-0ubuntu1.
It might also be faster on Precise with the update to pixman
0.30.2-1ubuntu0.0.0.0.1.
Can you still reproduce this bug?
Same here. One problem seems to be, that only one core is used in my 4
core machine.
