The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

I confirm, I get one of those too and the checksum of my iso is correct.
I have Edgy booting just fine from the CD so Feisty should do that too,
the only difference I can think of is that Feisty is burnt on a CD-RW.

Ok, I have found that one of the IDE connector of my motherboard is
unusable. After unplugged IDE drive from it, all go ok with the final
release of Feisty Desktop-install

Mine didnt boot too. The boot getting slow after USB-HID core driver,
and finally end up with unrecognized root drive issue and Busybox shell
jump in. I am using 2.6.20-15 something... both Live CD and alternate
install fail. My linux is now in dead end :(
