In Kubuntu 8.10, Adept did not crash in these circumstances. However it left
the system in a bad shape.
I had to dpkg --configure -a in order to put it back in order, and get firefox
working, for example.
Adept should be able to recover properly in such a case.

Just to clarify, in my case Adept crashed after I accepted the terms.
There was a solution posed on Ubuntuforums which has worked for me,
but i fdon't have the url.

I can also confirm this.
It should not break Adapt, but it does if user does not scroll to bottom
of Java licence agreement and tick the box.
Present in Kubuntu 7.10 with latest updates (up to 13th Jan 2008)

I have the same problem! installing kubuntu-restricted-extras at java
license agreement, adept displays the error and i have to use "sudo apt-
get install -f" to resolve! that's an anoying bug since kubuntu 6.10

Bumping the importance. This bug is a nuisance, I thought it was fixed
