I resolved this issue adding certain option to snd-hda-intel module. With model=6stack-digout everything works. I placed it to /etc/modprobe.d/options file But still there are many unused volume bars for different audio channels, though only two actually needed: front and surround - they control

Sound worked on kernel 2.6.17 (Edgy), but only with builtin speakers. Headphones did not work. Also, I had to unload the snd-hda-intel kernel module when hibernating the system (added to MODULES in /etc/default /acpi-support). Now, with kernel 2.6.20, everything is silent - but the error messages t
