The former is what you must use to install an edub

I'm afraid you were misinformed that "Install a server" was renamed to
"Install a command-line system". The "Install a server" option (at least
in its current incarnation) is new and exists in order that the Ubuntu
DVD can provide the same facilities as the Ubuntu server CDs.
