This is where I'm not so hot (sorry). Basically the base is installed
then the bar resets for the ubuntu install at this time it gets to 6%
and sits there. If you need a more definite answer I can run an install
on a spare machine I have and note down any details for you. Before I
do that though
Which progress bar (for example, what text is displayed at the top)? d-i
has lots of them.
