This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this
being fixed with an upgrade. For future reference you can manage the

This issue appears to be fixed in the Gusty CD's. I can now install
Ubuntu without first connecting a spare mouse and keyboard. That's all
we could hope for.
As far as I'm concerned, this issue can be closed.
