As mentioned by the bug watch, this was fixed in Debian when angband-
audio was packaged. It has since been synced to Ubuntu and is
available/installable in Ubuntu Wily. Therefore I believe this issue is
resolved.

I found that angband-audio is currently in the Debian New queue, so
hopefully will be accepted soon (https://ftp-
master.debian.org/new.html). I've attached a bug watch for the Debian
bug related to packaging angband-audio so we should get an update once
it is resolved.

In fact I have packaged it twice and it rotted on mentors both times. I
