No, I'm not experiencing other issues. Just for the protocol I'll add some aditional info (maybe helpful for other users) - when changed to /dev/sdX, 'hddtemp' command must be used with the new value, e.g. 'hddtemp /dev/sdX'. I don't know this change affects display manager's panels for system-info

This is expected. We have moved over to using libata in the kernel. This is a new subsystem for driving SATA and PATA hard-drives. The major user visible difference is devices change from /dev/hdX to /dev/sdX because libata uses the SCSI subsystem. For the majority of users the change should h
