That there is basically no Python 3 odbc support under Ubuntu after six months
feels more than a little unsettling.
Also, the unixodbc package is outdated(2.2) so that it cannot be used for
connecting to SQL server using connection strings(2.3 from source works).

I did the sync, but I reopen this bug as the new Debian version still
doesn't provide a python3-* package. Retitling back to original request.
