Ok - I will try the upstream kernel but I think this is probably a KDE
or X11 issue- I forgot to say in the original report that no kernel
messages appear when the keyboard dies and logging out of kde fixes the
problem (when the login manager appears the keyboard is workin) whereas
sleeping or hib
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.6 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both
the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.
