I did some testing with an other system (laptop). I loaded Ubuntu from
cd and could connect WPA automatic. (other wifi driver in laptop). Don't
know if this helps but its some extra info.

- lsmod|grep ndiswrapper
- ndiswrapper -v

I concur, downloading and installing ndiswrapper 1.42 from source fixed
WPA problem. Perhaps this version should be used in the repositories.

By the way: It only works on version 9 of the kernel when I have both
bcm43xx and prism54usb blacklisted in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
