This bug still exists. I am running Hardy with all of the latest
updates as of 07/16/2008. The problem seems to occur when two users are
logged in and the first logged-in user logs out, then switches to the
other user.

I have experiencied this bug in Ubuntu Hardy, it happens when I have two
users logged and logout from one of them.
When I logout, I return to the gdm screen, not the locked screen asking
for a password, and when I reenter with the user that was already logged
the bug occurs.
